First Museums Invited to Join Saganauts

The first museums and cultural institutions have now been contacted to participate in the Saganauts pilot project — an exciting new step in exploring how digital storytelling can bring museum collections and heritage to life.

The invitation has been extended to a diverse group of institutions, including art museums, cultural history museums, natural history museums and cultural centres. This broad mix is intentional: Saganauts aims to explore how AI-driven storytelling can enhance the visitor experience across the full spectrum of the experience economy — from science and heritage to art and design.

Several institutions have expressed strong interest in joining the pilot phase and contributing with test data, educational activities and user feedback. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be holding meetings with the participating museums to discuss collaboration models.

There is still room to include two to three additional museums or cultural institutions in the pilot phase. So if your organization is curious to explore new ways of digital storytelling for kids — and would like to be part of the project as it launches during the winter of 2025–2026 — don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Stay tuned — the next few months will be about co-creating, testing and reimagining how stories and learning can unfold in the museum of the future.
